Best Western Plus South Hill Inn

Early check-in was arranged easily.

It's conveniently located, right in the middle of all the eating and shopping places. Very clean with very friendly staff.

Bed was too hard. No bacon on the breakfast line and only peach yogurt

As for me, the location was great and comfortable, right by bus terminal and stores, and restaurants and gas stations. It also was close to everything.

A friendly stay despite hiccups

Upon entering, the warm welcome from the reception staff instantly. The room was nothing messy, and we appreciated the effort taken for cleanliness.

Unfortunately, the loud noise from the nearby highway disturbed our sleep. The breakfast options could also use some improvement.

the bathroom we had was very clean, but the tub was really not usable for my fully handicapped wife who would have enjoyed a shower. we needed a roll in access without a ledge.

Totally recommend for taking strolls

Clean room, friendly staff with thoughtful amenities like the strong wi-fi connection and the outdoor pool for relaxation.

Everything was just perfect.

the big bathroom & bed was about all that i liked. the tv wasn't clear on all the channels.

the colors of the room were boring and the room itself seemed pretty old . I expected more for my money.

Good bed good breakfast

Bathroom floor was wet due to leaking shutoff valve on tolet. Didn't report it until we left but desl clerk was very concerned and promised to get it fixed and thanked us for reporting it. Had a slight problem getting air conditioning to come on, called the front desk and they explained what to do then it worked great.

easy access to parks and charming local attractions

I loved how convenient it was to explore the Tobacco Farm Life Museum, only about 2.5 km away, and Centennial Park just 2 km down the road, perfect for a relaxing stroll after a long drive. The breakfast was awesome and the staff.

The hotel is convenient to places to eat and to the highway.

The hotel is on the old side and could use a makeover.

Enjoyed shower,warm water nice shower head ,beds were comfy staff was very helpful helping me hook up with wifi,friendly,ready to assist staff

You could hear people that were staying above us but not to point it kept us awake overall great experience ,

The hotel was perfect for our family trip, with comfortable beds and great shower pressure. The location was convenient, just a short drive from restaurants and nearby attractions. The kids loved the spacious room, and the tv kept them entertained after a long day.

My kids wished the pool stayed open later. It closed early, right when we arrived, a disappointment. A later pool closing time would have been appreciated, especially for families traveling with kids.

I appreciated how Best Western was able to upgrade my accomodations to what I desired.

The room and space

The fact that the swimming pool was closed although it was advertised as being open year round. it was a hot September day and we had been driving all day and were particularly looking forward to being able to swim.

Decent Stay with Great Dining Options

Enjoyed the stay, especially the fitness center and friendly staff. Grabbed a quick bite at the lovely Italian restaurant nearby. The recommendations were spot on! Tip, check out the pool for a refreshing swim after a long drive.
